Five AI tools worth your attention today — what each one does, why it matters if you run product at a B2B SaaS company, and where to look. Every weekday morning. No sponsors, no noise.

Productboard launched AI agents on Monday that take over the triage work between raw feedback and the roadmap. The agents read every piece of feedback as it arrives — support tickets, sales call notes, in-app prompts, review-site posts — classify it, deduplicate it against existing requests, link it to the features it concerns, and keep each feature’s priority score updated as evidence accumulates. When a request spikes, or a theme starts appearing in churn conversations, the agents flag it with the receipts attached and draft the summary a PM would otherwise write by hand. The agents are live on Growth and Enterprise plans today, and Productboard keeps a human sign-off requirement before anything lands on a roadmap.
Why it matters for PMs: Feedback volume was never the problem in B2B SaaS — triage is. Roadmaps too often get shaped by the loudest voice in the room instead of the weight of evidence, because assembling that evidence is a full-time job nobody has. Agents that classify, dedupe, and link continuously mean a priority score can finally reflect what customers said this week rather than what someone remembered from last quarter. The caveat is real: agents can only triage what they can read, so if your feature taxonomy is a mess, the agents will triage the mess faster.

Dovetail launched research agents on Monday that run continuously instead of per project: they ingest interviews, surveys, and support conversations as they happen, cluster them into themes, and maintain a constantly updated evidence base where every insight links back to the exact quotes and clips behind it. Ask “what have enterprise admins said about onboarding this quarter?” and the agent answers with receipts — segments, frequency, and verbatim evidence — and flags where the evidence is thin rather than papering over gaps. The agents respect existing access controls, and the capability ships on Dovetail’s Business plan.
Why it matters for PMs: Discovery usually starts cold: a PM joins a project and spends two weeks re-reading transcripts to learn what is already known. A continuously updated evidence base turns “do we have evidence for this?” from a research project into a query — and it changes roadmap politics, because the burden of proof shifts to whoever is arguing against the evidence. One caution: the agents are only as good as what you pipe in. If support conversations are not flowing into the same store as interviews, the always-current picture has blind spots.

Crayon launched competitive agents on Friday that watch rivals around the clock — changelogs, pricing pages, review sites, job postings, ad copy — and deliver a morning brief on what changed, what it signals, and which of your active deals or segments it touches. Rather than alerting on every mention, the agents rank each move by relevance to the accounts and markets you track, and they draft battlecard updates for sales when a competitor’s positioning shifts. Crayon says the agents cut brief production from days to minutes, and the capability begins rolling out to all customers this week.
Why it matters for PMs: Differentiation is a roadmap input, not a marketing exercise — knowing a competitor just shipped your Q4 item changes what you should build next, and learning about it a quarter late is expensive. Always-on monitoring collapses that lag from a quarterly review to a morning read. And the pattern cuts both ways: your changelog, pricing page, and job postings are now being read by competitors’ agents every morning too — they are product surfaces, so write them like it.

Eppo launched an AI analyst on Friday that reads A/B tests the way a data scientist would and writes the readout in plain English: what moved, for whom, how confident the result is, and where the data is thin. It drafts a ship/no-ship recommendation with the caveats attached — novelty effects, sample ratio mismatches, metrics that have not had time to mature — and every claim links back to the underlying query so nothing is taken on faith. The analyst is warehouse-native like the rest of Eppo, meaning behavioral data never leaves the customer’s warehouse. It rolls out to all customers over the next two weeks.
Why it matters for PMs: The bottleneck in experimentation is not running tests — it is reading them. Most B2B teams have a queue of finished experiments waiting for someone with stats context to write the readout, and every week spent in that queue is roadmap time lost. An analyst that drafts the readout in minutes turns experiment conclusions into a PM review step instead of a data-team dependency. The judgment stays yours: a recommendation with caveats is still a recommendation you can overrule.

LaunchDarkly announced general availability of AI Configs on Monday — its control plane for AI features, where model selection, prompt versions, and guardrail settings are managed as flags. Eval gates can block a rollout if quality scores regress, automatic fallback switches to a known-good model when error rates spike in production, and teams can A/B models against each other on live traffic while comparing cost, latency, and quality per variant. A prompt rolls back in seconds with no deploy. GA adds the audit trails compliance teams ask for and is available on Enterprise plans starting today.
Why it matters for PMs: If your roadmap includes AI features — and in 2026 B2B SaaS, it does — the risky part is no longer the model call, it is the rollout: which model, which prompt, which guardrails, and how fast you can back out when quality dips. Treating those as flags instead of deploys turns model swaps into Tuesday-afternoon decisions instead of release events. The eval gate is the piece worth stealing: shipping AI changes without an automated quality gate is now a choice, not a default.
