Productboard’s feedback-triage agents

Covered by Signal Brief for B2B SaaS product managers — one of 5 tools in Issue #7 · productboard.com

What it does

Productboard launched AI agents on Monday that take over the triage work between raw feedback and the roadmap. The agents read every piece of feedback as it arrives — support tickets, sales call notes, in-app prompts, review-site posts — classify it, deduplicate it against existing requests, link it to the features it concerns, and keep each feature’s priority score updated as evidence accumulates. When a request spikes, or a theme starts appearing in churn conversations, the agents flag it with the receipts attached and draft the summary a PM would otherwise write by hand. The agents are live on Growth and Enterprise plans today, and Productboard keeps a human sign-off requirement before anything lands on a roadmap.

Why it matters for PMs

Feedback volume was never the problem in B2B SaaS — triage is. Roadmaps too often get shaped by the loudest voice in the room instead of the weight of evidence, because assembling that evidence is a full-time job nobody has. Agents that classify, dedupe, and link continuously mean a priority score can finally reflect what customers said this week rather than what someone remembered from last quarter. The caveat is real: agents can only triage what they can read, so if your feature taxonomy is a mess, the agents will triage the mess faster.
